Open Day for Families
A huge thank you to everyone for supporting our first Open Day since before the pandemic. The children were so excited to show their families around the school, introduce them to their friends and join in the activities on offer.
Each class organised an stall on the day to raise funds for the school and we are very grateful to everyone for taking part in the activities which ranged from an Easter Egg hunt around the grounds to painting pottery in the DT room. The refreshments and cake stall were extremely popular, as was the beauty booth and the bunny hockey.
It was a great opportunity for parents and carers to meet with their child’s class teacher and also attend the presentations: including an introduction to Art Therapy by Lucy Shaw, Idioms and Inferences by Cath Mattison, our Speech and Language therapist and how to get the most out of Tapestry, our online learning log by Danielle Harry.
