Memorable moments from our horse-riding programme

Last term the pupils enjoyed taking part in a series of much loved horse-riding sessions.

Throughout the term, the pupils embraced every aspect of the experience, from learning to trot and building confidence in the saddle, to forming strong connections with the horses and developing new skills along the way.

The final session before Christmas brought an extra touch of magic, with a festive theme that included fun games, letter posting activities, and special rewards such as sweets and rosettes.

The pupils showed exceptional respect and care for both the staff and the horses throughout. In a further show of community spirit, one staff member generously handmade a cosy blanket for the pupils’ reading corner, creating an even warmer and more welcoming environment.

Alongside the fun, the horse-riding programme helped foster key skills including teamwork, responsibility, and a genuine appreciation for animals. The experience left pupils with lasting memories and a sense of accomplishment.
