Festive Christmas Fair
Our first Friends of Brantridge School (FOBS) Christmas Fair took place on Friday 13th December and it was a great success. It was amazing to see so many families enjoying the festivities. From the cake stall and games to the fantastic raffle. In total the fair raised £1049.30 which is an fantastic total, given the size of our school. We are extremely grateful to the FOBS parents for all the hard work they put into organising the event. We are also very grateful to all the parents and carers who came along to support the event and helped make it such a success.
Each class organised and ran a stall for the fair. These varied from activities including the Chimney Pots tin can challenge to the Nutcracker selfie stall and Pin the Nose on Rudolph. Other classes had got creative and were selling items they had made such as bottle lamps and baubles filled with sweets. There was also a craft stall and refreshments to buy including hot drinks, cookies and bakes.
As always the raffle was the main attraction with a record number of fantastic prizes. Many thanks to all the local businesses who kindly donated prizes, lots of families went home bearing some great hampers and vouchers. The day ended with the announcement of the winner of the Guess the Number of sweets in the jar competition – it was 188 which is a lot of sweets!
Thank you to everyone for your generous support, all the money raised goes towards the school.
