Careers

Whilst Careers education is not statutory at Primary level. At Brantridge we believe that it is essential for all pupils to gain this experience to better prepare them for their next steps in their education and in the future. Through PSHE we teach about different jobs and qualifications. We hold an annual careers day where the pupils get to experience lots of different careers including police, fire service, construction, acting, STEM jobs, truck driving, hairdressing and shop work. We have local employers come to speak to the children and the youngest pupils visit Little street where they can role play different careers.
