Brantridge School pupils shine in music project
Pupils at Brantridge School have been hard at work this term as part of a special music project inspired by World Book Week’s theme, Dreams and Aspirations. The pupils have been learning and rehearsing the motivational pop song “Bring It All Back” by S Club 7, using its upbeat message to explore ideas of confidence, teamwork and believing in themselves.
Throughout the project, pupils have developed key musical skills, including singing in unison, keeping to a steady rhythm, and performing with expression. Their work also reflects the aims of the Key Stage 2 Music Curriculum, giving pupils opportunities to perform, listen, appraise and express creativity.
The pupils have been supporting and encouraging one another, celebrating each other’s progress and growing in confidence as performers. The pupils have also been busy recording their performance, which will be available for families to enjoy at the school’s upcoming Spring Fair.
The project has not only strengthened musical ability, but also nurtured teamwork, resilience, and a strong sense of achievement.
