Governors welcome

I am proud to have been a governor at Brantridge School since 2011. All governors are volunteers, and we bring our skills and experience from a wide range of professional and personal backgrounds to work alongside the leadership team and help achieve the very best for our pupils. Our role as governors is to help set strategic direction, to hold school leaders to account for the education, safety and well being of pupils and to ensure money is well spent on the continuous improvement of our school.

We meet as a governing body every term, but throughout the year we are actively involved in supporting the team to deliver and develop the curriculum and support what Brantridge can offer our pupils. Our dedicated and professional staff aim to equip pupils with the skills they need for learning and living life to the full, and our focus is on developing each pupil’s self-esteem, self-image and confidence. We strive for the highest standards of personal work and behaviour.

If you are interested in finding out more about a place at Brantridge School, please contact our Admissions and Family Liaison Manager on 01444 400228 or email the school office on

Part of our role as governors is to monitor the performance of the school, and we very much welcome feedback on all aspects of school life from pupils, their families as well as local authorities and the local communities. We are often at school events and value the opportunity to hear directly from pupils and families.
