Governors welcome

Thank you for your interest in the role of the Local Governing Body.

All governors are volunteers, and we bring our skills and experience from a wide range of professional and personal backgrounds to work alongside the leadership team and help achieve the very best for our pupils. Our role as governors is to help set strategic direction, to hold school leaders to account for the education, safety and well being of pupils and to ensure money is well spent on the continuous improvement of our school. We meet once a term.

Part of our role as governors is to monitor the performance of the school, and we very much welcome feedback on all aspects of school life from pupils, their families as well as local authorities and the local communities. We are often at school events and value the opportunity to hear directly from pupils and families.

If you wish to contact the LGB, please email the clerk at clerk@sashub.org
